5.0/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Hilton Niseko Village. The location is unbeatable for skiing, right at the base of the slopes, which made hitting the trails incredibly easy. However, the rooms, while comfortable, were small, and the dining options did not meet my expectations. The service was hit or miss, with some aspects needing improvement, especially during peak hours.

Rooms
7.0
My room was comfortable and modern, but quite small and the bathroom was outdated and cramped. I found the two sinks in the room confusing, as one felt unnecessary. Still, the view of Mt Yotei was a good surprise when I opened the window.
Service
6.0
The service was inconsistent; some staff were friendly and helpful, but others seemed overwhelmed and didn't provide the level of hospitality I expected. There were moments when it felt like they were short-staffed, which affected the overall experience.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, as the ski slope ends right at the lobby. This made it convenient for quick breaks during skiing. Plus, I appreciated having the ski school and rental services just steps away from the hotel.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, I found the dining options at the hotel quite overpriced, and the quality did not match what I had anticipated. The buffet breakfast was disappointing, with several dishes not meeting the standard I would expect from a Hilton hotel.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were adequate, with a decent selection of services like ski equipment rental and a shuttle service to town, but the lack of a microwave in the room was a downside for me, especially after bringing back meals from local supermarkets.

5.6/10

While the location of Hilton Niseko Village offered stunning views and direct access to the ski slopes, my experience was marred by disappointing service and facilities. The room was outdated and not up to the standards I would expect from a five-star hotel. Dining options varied, but they often felt overpriced and lacking in quality.

Rooms
5.0
My room had an very nice view, but it felt old and basic. The setup, with a sink outside the bathroom, was quite unusual. I expected more for the price I paid.
Service
5.0
The service was inconsistent, with some staff being friendly while others seemed inexperienced. I encountered issues during check-in and with billing that added to my frustration.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, right next to the gondola, making it easy to hit the slopes. The scenery was stunning and it was convenient for skiing.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were overpriced relative to their quality. The breakfast buffet was decent, but I found the sushi restaurant to be the highlight, even though I had some disappointments with the Japanese restaurant.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities felt below par; the onsen was not as clean as I hoped, and I wished there were more amenities available. They need to improve housekeeping as well.

6.0/10

My stay at Hilton Niseko Village was quite enjoyable, with a perfect location right by the ski slopes. The onsen offered a fantastic way to unwind after a long day on the mountain, but I did find the dining options to be somewhat average considering the prices. The hotel room was a good size and well-equipped, though the bathrooms felt a bit outdated.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious with useful features like a refrigerator and great views of Mount Yotei. However, the bathroom was a bit small and could use an update.
Service
9.0
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially when I had questions regarding my stay. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was excellent, right in the center of Niseko Village and near the slopes. While access can be tricky if the gondola is out of service, the shuttle service helped.
Dining
7.0
Dining options within the hotel were decent, with a good breakfast at 'Melt Bar'. However, I found the restaurants to be a bit pricey for average offerings.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were quite good, including the onsen which was a highlight of my stay. Just wish there were more storage options for ski equipment.

7.4/10

I had a decent stay at Hilton Niseko Village, with some highlights and low points. The location is perfect for ski access, right next to the lift, and the views from my room were fantastic. However, I found the dining options overpriced and not quite up to standard, especially the breakfast, which left much to be desired. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but I might choose to stay in town next time for better food and a bit more convenience.

Rooms
8.0
My King Deluxe Room was nice and spacious with beautiful views. However, the bathroom felt cramped and outdated, needing a renovation.
Service
9.0
Staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Communication was smooth, especially with the non-Japanese speakers, making requests easy.
Location
9.0
The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to the ski gondola, which made hitting the slopes a breeze. There’s also a free shuttle into town.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were convenient but overpriced, and the breakfast buffet was particularly disappointing. Improvements could definitely be made.
Facilities
8.0
Great amenities like the onsen were a highlight, and the ski room was efficient. The hotel provided good support for families with gear.

6.6/10

My stay at Hilton Niseko Village was a mixed bag. I loved the stunning views of Yotei mountain and the excellent location for skiing right at the foot of the slopes. However, the rooms felt quite dated, and the service left much to be desired. Overall, while the amenities were convenient, I expected a bit more from a Hilton hotel.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious but unfortunately dated with old decor and some cleanliness issues. For instance, I found the carpets stained and even came across a few ladybugs in my room. Overall, not quite what I expected from Hilton standards.
Service
6.0
I encountered a mix of helpful and unhelpful staff during my stay. While some, like Suji Park and Yuichi Hosoda, were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, others seemed overwhelmed, leading to long wait times for basic services.
Location
9.0
The location was perfect for skiing and snowboarding. I appreciated being so close to the gondola, which made access to the slopes a breeze. However, it's a bit of a trek to get to the best restaurants outside of the hotel.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were quite limited and often lacked quality. While breakfast had good variety, the restaurants were overpriced given the food quality. The buffet style felt crowded and the atmosphere was a bit stuffy.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities included good services like a ski pass vendor and ski equipment hire. However, the room service was not as effective, and I even had issues finding basic amenities like ice on different floors. A bit disappointing for a Hilton.
